A Bit About Us
Phi Delta Epsilon International Fraternity creates physicians of integrity with a lifelong commitment to our guiding principles - Philanthropy, Deity, Equity, and Education. We are passionate about guiding our physicians by making our motto live: Facta Non Verba, Deeds Not Words.
The Massachusetts Beta Chapter at Northeastern University in Boston, MA was founded in 2019 and officially chartered in the fall of 2020.
Our Guiding Principles
PHILANTHROPY
We believe in giving back to our communities through service. Our international philanthropic and service partner is the Children's Miracle Network, which encompasses 170+ children's hospitals worldwide. As the MA Beta chapter, we raise funds and complete service projects for our local CMN Hospital, Boston Children's Hospital.
DEITY
As members of PhiDE, we're part of an organization that's bigger than just one individual. We believe in helping future physicians understand how they are working towards something greater than themselves. We take pride in being a support system for our fellow members as peers and mentors to help guide each other through our paths in medicine.
EQUITY & EDUCATION
As future physicians of integrity, we believe wholeheartedly that all students should have equal opportunities to pursue the highest quality of education. By fostering a safe community full of support, we strive to ensure equity in education among our members and community at large.
